THE IMPORTANT OF TECHNOLOGY FOR TEACHER AND STUDENT (TECHNOLOGY IN EDUCATION)

Technology is very important in this era especially for teacher and student. Why technology is very important? As we know we live with technology or we can say IT, IT is around us. From year to year, there are many new teachers with their creativity; they will use technology certainly with new feature of technology its self in teaching. So, as I read in some blog “Technology will not replace the teacher but teacher who doesn’t use technology will be replaced”, I think it is right statement because almost all of school use technology. Technology has many benefits. Teacher and student are very easy and fast to find some information even where ever we are. By using IT teacher can create creative teaching, teacher teach using media of IT such as Computer Managed Learning (CML), Computer Mediated Communication (CMC) and Computer Assisted Instruction (CAI). We also can call this learning as Virtual Learning. IT is multimedia for teaching learning; we can use computer or projector to play podcast, video, and so on. So, teaching and learning more interactive. In addition, IT has important rule for teacher, in this case IT as tool to improve their ability in teaching because teacher is first element for teaching.
